I dont know why is there a debate when Max himself said it a number of times during the post race interviews that he knew didnt have the 1st corner for breaking late and Lewis wasnt going to back out on the 2nd corner, so he didnt want to back out. To make it worse he said he knew they didnt have the car to win on Sunday due to high deg, so hes not losing anything this weekend but to cost Lewis a Win and he gets 5 seconds penalty. He said it wouldnt have mattered for my race anyway!! Please look up the sky sports post race interview if you dont believe me. HE DIDNT CARE about the damn penalty!! I'm not sure how else Max fans want to hear the type of Champion the guy is. He doesnt care about his team, he sure as hell doesnt care about what Perez has done to help the past two seasons, even when hes won the Championship, he sure as hell doesnt respect anyone on the grid.16-11-2022 10:40

It's always amazing that Max wins in dominant fashion, but the most comments in this blog are anything that has anything to do with LH44 who came out on the 1st lap. We will discuss the RB Rocketship in the future I guess..? Lewis admitted that he was wrong and apologized to both teams for the incident and wouldve probably apologized to Alonso if through experience he anticipated that Alonso said some offensive stuff about him which he didnt want to hear. So Let's not pretend that if you know a guy you dont get along with said something about you , you cant imagine what he would say? So guys please dont come hear all high and mighty on this blog and pretend that most of you would apologize especially after what he said. The man admitted he was wrong with no reservations. Even though in the replay you can see that Alonso was squeezing Ham to the grass, moving more than once from a defensive position. Which justifies a racing incident because they were both wrong, even though the crash is what's highlighted. Brazil is an example if u can remember that he came from 10th to win Just like Max..So it's nothing new that he has proved over the years that he can race from any position even. So lets not even to debate. Some of your guys haterage for this man needs to be self evaluated, ask yourself why do you hate this man so much that has contributed so much to the sport in it and out. Some of you need to really grow up, and evaluate whether it's worth it for you to watch a race and your reasons for doing so. It cant be life that the only reason you watch F1 is to find fault and drama especially that has anything to do with Lewis Hamilton, surely you cannot be happy with your life because after all is said and done, that man came from nothing with the help of his father and they made dreams come true and showed people that with talent and belief all things are possible. WELL Done to Max!! No one can touch him the whole weekend. S/o to Adrian Knewey.. It's amazing the "Rocketship" term was offensive and derogatory when it was Lewis driving like that week in week out now that Max clearly has a flipping good car, some RB fans are not willing to concede that the car made a difference, not the whole, but a difference. Any! Special mention to Ocons driving as well , had atleast two double overtakes all clean jobs!! Russell had maxed out its potential this weekend overtaking Ferraris in a straight?!?! What?! Merc has got next in the championship after RB. Another question is that if both Redbull are the same, why couldn't Perez shake off Sainz?29-08-2022 11:41

I dont know what anti Lewis Fans want honestly. the man admits and has given credit to Max and Redbull a number of times this year that they are far ahead interms of speed and package. If he doesnt admit this hes a sore loser and if he does hes an even bigger loser that manages to get 2nd place just by doing his best and making less errors. You guys are lame really. Busy debating if and buts doesnt change the fact that Max won and Leclerc crashed by himself alone. Lewis had nothing to do with that. Redbull and Mercedes keep winning because they have the experience through challenging at the front for years now. Great champions in all sports know how to win without the best machinery, or atleast be in contention to win. That's what Mercedes has figured and decided that you know what, let's keep hunting and putting pressure, they'll keep making mistakes. Now you can never fault Lewis or George for being top drivers and know what they are doing even when their car isnt the best. These new F1 fans are draining because they can NEVER appreciate great talent even if its not their favorite driver. You all need to grow up and just enjoy the show.Im not a Max fan but I can appreciate that he has matured this year because he learnt some lessons through challenging the best in the field by far, so now he can compose himself more, unfortunately unlike LeCrerc right now because hes not used to that racing from the front pressure. I've said this before even after the first race that Mercedes could finish the constructors challenging for number 1 because the more Ferrari and Redbull make mistakes, the more time they are given to improve their package and become competitive because they started not from the best position so they'll be hungry for maximum points consideringtheir car. Max and Charles will wake up and see Lewis all over their mirrors and would not have the experience to hold him back in pressure moments.25-07-2022 14:24

Actually all cars in a team have similar design but as they implement improvements as you have seen with them upgrades. Perez has been in challenging MV is the first couple races because his car by design had suited his driving style, but as the give feedback after races, it shows who is getting preference to parts improvements which is why Checo is demotivated and has stated this that the car he is driving now is NOT the same car he was driving in the first couple of races. So it's not all Max's Talents in driving , it's also the upgrades that have been implemented which is a disadvantage to Checo. So calm down hes not the most dominant driver we've seen, he doesnt have the numbers to back that theory yet.26-07-2022 08:26

Let it be Hamilton defending like that against Max and you would be reading different comments from people that are saying Mick should grow up n "it's just hard racing ". Max would be the first one to say that its because he didnt leave the space like he did at Monza.Mick asked for clarity of the rules not that he said Max MUST get a 5 sec penalty. I'm just glad that most reasonable people agree that the rules are rubbish still n Max should leave more space because if it was done to him, you would be reading harsh comments from everyone at Redbull. Just because the rules allow it, doesnt mean its fair racing..There are unsaid fair play rules in all sports n leaving space is one of them amongst drivers even for ordinary drivers on the highway.You dont just cutt people of because you can n there is no Police around n you want to be first at the intersection And dont care how it it endangers everyone around you09-07-2022 05:23

As a F1 Fan for years, Spa is a legendary place that I think most if not all enjoy including drivers. so it's sad that it will be discontinued. Maybe much later it will come back..I dont see Las Vegas Lasting. As a South African I'm keen to have a race here for obvious reasons more especially for representation of a "World Championship"since we would be the first in the continent of Africa , in many years to host one. I think people that are not familiar and havent veen to SA , atkeast it would give them an idea of what it looks like and would be surprised that it will give good racing to watch as it's also a traditional circuit. To remove stigmas like we have lions and Elephants in our yard because some people are that ignorant. So I know guys from Europe especially France n Belgium will be saddened but give other places like SA a chance at least to see something "new".07-07-2022 08:48

I mean people who were at the bottom half last season are finding themselves in the top half this season or atleast on yesterdays race why? Some have realized that it's a new car and new opportunity to get up there especially if theres potential in the car. I mean yesterday we saw Tsunoda up there Gasly struggling, Lando up there and Riccardo struggling (yes not entirely his fault but its racing), Bottas up there, Zhou struggling, Russel up there Lewis struggling.Albon up there and Latifi struggling..Alonso up there and Ocon struggling, K Mag up there and Mick is struggling..Same cars with the team mate but majority of teams one of them is struggling to get ahold of the new car and getting the right setup. So I completely agree with the commentator, the mindset change is not only for Lewis or unique to him as much as alot of haters would like him to fall from grace, but everyone that was doing well last season and thinks automatically it will be the same this year..Hes just the hated driver that everyone wants to pile on at the moment. Having a great car is 60% , 20% is the driver and another 20% is attitude. Yes George got P4 and is grinding out results from the same car because he is used to that mindset from William's. Albon(in a williams)held of Gasly and Hamilton who both had DRS but they couldn't pass him. With the same Car Latifi says it wont be fighting for points and Albon says he see potential to get to the top 10. George passed K Mag in circuit that traditionally doesnt have clear overtake places but forced one in an unconventional place why? Because he was determined to. Lewis just needs to accept the car as not Mercs best but work with it and have a change of attitude. Only then he will find himself up there otherwise if he doesnt there'll be always someone or something to blame it on.25-04-2022 09:16

Everyone knows Andretti doesnt like Lewis personally just as much Helmut Marko would like to see him gone. Max is fast because he has a fast and solid performing car, just like Leclerc, Perez and Sainz when they get it right. A fast car is needed to win the race, it's the ABC of racing, its debatable though to say clearly who is the deserving champion for last season. It's funny when Max has a fast car, no its not the car its him but when Lewis has a fast car and wins, it's his rocket ship and not him as a driver. It's a no brainer every driver wants a fast solid performing car to stand a chance to win.25-04-2022 09:44
